Is the doctor you are choosing for your evaluations the best fit?  The American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) recognizes 25 specialties.  We believe those certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (or Physiatrist or Rehabilitation Doctors) may be the "best fit" for evaluating disabilities.  From the ABMS website:

"Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, also referred to as Rehabilitation Medicine, is the medical specialty concerned with evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical disabilities."
